West Bloomfield is a town in on the western edge of Ontario County, bordered to the north by Mendon (Monroe County), to the east by East Bloomfield, to the south by Richmond and to the west by Lima (Livingston County).


Essentials

It’s pretty rural here. For groceries, there’s the Honeoye Falls Market Place at 166 W. Main St. in Honeoye Falls, and a Save-A-Lot store on Main Street in Lima. The closest Wegmans supermarkets are all about 15 miles away, in different directions: in Canandaigua, Fairport and Henrietta. The closest Tops Friendly Markets store is in Canandaigua..



Recreation & Entertainment

Again, it’s pretty rural here. Honeoye Falls and Lima have a few restaurants and places to drink, including a Custom Brew Crafters. There’s a Brongo Bowl bowling center on Main Street in Honeoye Falls.



Transportation & Traffic

The well-traveled Routes 5 & 20 head east-west through West Bloomfield. It’s a fun drive, heading through several charming small towns. Route 65 is the main north-south highway and also runs right through the middle of town.



Pros & Cons

West Bloomfield is a quiet, small, rural town which offers an alternative to the busier nearby towns of Victor and Canandaigua. There’s plenty of wide-open space here, a good school district, and you’re only a few miles away from the villages of Honeoye Falls and Lima.
