Welcome to Milo, NY

Overview

Milo is a town on the eastern edge of central Yates County, bordered to the north by Benton and Torrey, to the east by Torrey and Seneca Lake, to the south by Barrington and Starkey, and to the west by Keuka Lake. The village of Penn Yan, the county seat, is at Milo’s north town line (and at the north end of the Y-shaped Keuka Lake). With just over 7,000 residents, Milo is one of the most-populated towns in Yates County but still is mainly rural and is the only town in the county with frontage on two of the Finger Lakes. Penn Yan has a few stores and restaurants and attractions like a movie-theater multiplex --- more attractions than you’ll find in most municipalities in the county.
