Recreation & Entertainment SUNY Brockport provides the majority of entertainment to the village. Well known for its nationally acclaimed arts program, there is a constant offering of dance programs, theatre, concerts, lectures, art shows, poetry and more. Local pubs often feature music, and a number of eateries serve the area. Parks Barry Street Park, between Barry and Lyman, has a playground, a pavilion, tennis and basketball courts, as well as open spaces for all to enjoy; Corbett Park is over nine acres at the corner of Smith and Clark streets. There is a pavilion, picnic areas, tennis courts, basketball, and hiking trails; Harvester Park is located at Water St. and Park Ave. on the banks of the Erie Canal. It is designed for both locals and visitors to enjoy…There are also three children's parks - two Tot Lots for younger kids, and a Children's Park…Remembrance Park is dedicated to September 11; and Sagawa Park is located at 96 Main St., the site of summer concerts and other events…South Avenue Park, at 52 South Ave., is a place to gather for picnics in the village.
